First, start the production of low-power motor stage



At this stage, the former Ministry of Machinery industry organized the establishment of a motor research laboratory in Beijing Electrical Science Research Institute, specializing in the research and development of low-power motors, and with the corresponding trial production factory, which is China's earliest development and small-volume production of low-power motors. At this time, there was no factory specializing in the manufacture of such motors in China. China's first generation of low-power motors are manufactured in the workshop of the Electrical Science Research Institute and a few factories manufacturing conventional motors, mainly including hysteresis motor, motor magnifying machine, synchro machine, rotary transformer, AC servo motor, medium frequency generator, cover pole synchronous motor and AC commutator motor, etc., but the output is very small, the technical force is very weak.



Second, the formation of small power motor industry



At this stage, many factories specializing in the production of small power motors have been built, such as Chengdu micro motor Factory, Beijing micro Motor Factory, Tianjin micro Motor Factory, Shanghai micro motor Factory, Boshan Motor Factory, Shuguang Motor Factory and so on. At this time, several related research institutes were also established, such as Shanghai Micromotor Research Institute, Xi 'an Micromotor Research Institute, Guangzhou fractional horsepower Motor Research Institute, etc., and organized mass production of several low-power motors designed by the former Soviet Union. At the same time, the relevant basic technology has strengthened the scientific research work, and the results have laid the foundation for the design of a new generation of low-power motor. For example, the performance of the motor is improved, the windings are distributed according to harmonics, and the accuracy of the linear rotating transformer is improved.



Third, the rapid development stage of small power motor



Due to the increasing demand for various household appliances and audio equipment, the wide application and popularization of microcomputers, the development of office automation, the need for industrial modernization, the technical transformation of old enterprises, etc., the production of small power motors puts forward extremely high requirements. Obviously, the production capacity of the original small power motor is far from meeting the requirements, and there is an urgent need to develop a plan for large-scale expansion and technological transformation of the industry.
